Now Crop Fertility has put an end to all that.... by introducing Pelleted Lime.

Pelleted Lime is a high quality limestone finely ground for rapid action and maximum effectiveness, then pelletised into fertilizer sized granules for application by a conventional fertilizer spreader.

This has lots of advantages over ground limestone.
